SHAHID ABDULLA
Our journey began with an unforgettable session featuring Ar. Shahid Abdulla, a true legend in the realm of Pakistani architecture and a partner at the renowned Arshad Shahid Abdulla (ASA). With decades of groundbreaking contributions, Ar. Shahid has been an inspiration to generations of architects and design enthusiasts alike.
For this inaugural session, we had the privilege of showcasing a remarkable residential project designed in collaboration with Moyena Niazi of Co-Design Studio—the stunning residence of Mrs. Shahnaz Ismail in KDA, Karachi. This project is a testament to thoughtful, contextual design, combining timeless elegance with functional brilliance.
The session was a resounding success, attended by over 45 architecture students and members of the esteemed Tree House Architects. It set the tone for future explorations of architecture as not just a profession but a profound form of storytelling and cultural expression. We are honored to have begun our series with such an inspiring and monumental figure.
AKEEL BILGRAMI
Our storytelling series continued with an inspiring session featuring the legendary Ar. Akeel Bilgrami, a name synonymous with excellence in architecture. As a founding partner of NBCL - Najmi Bilgrami Collaborative, Ar. Bilgrami has played a pivotal role in shaping the architectural landscape of Pakistan. With decades of experience and numerous accolades to his name, his contributions to the field are nothing short of extraordinary.
Adding to the richness of this session was the story of his wife, Noor Jehan Bilgrami, affectionately known as “Bibi.” A celebrated figure in the realms of art, design, and architecture in Pakistan, her work has left an indelible mark on the creative fabric of the nation and beautifully complements Ar. Bilgrami’s legacy.
For this event, Ar. Bilgrami graciously opened the doors to his own residence, offering students an intimate glimpse into his personal design philosophy and creative process. The session was a monumental success, drawing an audience of over 200 architecture and design students eager to learn from one of the most revered architects of our time.
It was a truly unforgettable experience, blending professional insight, personal narrative, and a celebration of architectural brilliance.
NAJEEB OMAR
A graduate of NCA, Ar. Najeeb Omar has been practicing architecture for over 30 years, leaving an indelible mark on the field with his exceptional work. Among his many accolades is the prestigious IAP Award for Architecture (Single-Family Residential Unit) in 2012. Known for his distinctive design philosophy, his spaces are celebrated for creating “a positive and lasting impression on all who experience them.”
Ar. Najeeb’s residential projects transcend conventional homes; they embody a lifestyle—one that balances warmth and comfort with a deep respect for privacy and tranquility. His designs have garnered widespread acclaim and admiration from all who encounter them.

SUHAIL ABBASI
Our storytelling series reached new heights with an extraordinary session featuring Ar. Suhail Abbasi, a legendary architect and a cornerstone in the development of Islamabad, Pakistan’s beautiful capital. Renowned for his visionary approach, Ar. Abbasi has played a pivotal role in shaping the city's landscape, contributing to iconic projects such as churches, mosques, hotels, townhouses, parks, and vibrant community spaces that define Islamabad’s unique character.
This session spotlighted a particularly remarkable project—a fun and innovative farmhouse designed and built by the dynamic father-son duo, Suhail and Fawad Architects. The project not only showcases their creative synergy but also stands as a testament to their shared passion for creating spaces that inspire and delight.
The event was a resounding success, drawing an audience of over 350 architecture and design enthusiasts. Attendees were captivated by Ar. Abbasi’s insights into his legacy and the creative processes behind some of the city’s most celebrated landmarks.

Held in F-6, this highly anticipated session brought together 75 students, designers, and practitioners to learn from his brilliance and celebrate his remarkable contributions to the field.

Artiago proudly hosted the book launch for the renowned Ar. Ejaz Ahmed Qadri of Qadri Associates, a celebrated architect with a thriving practice across Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. The event centered around his remarkable book, Vocabulary on Site, which captures his profound architectural insights and experiences. This special occasion, celebrated Ar. Qadri’s contributions to architecture and literature, bringing together professionals and enthusiasts to honor his exceptional legacy.
Artiago, proudly hosted an enlightening talk session with Ar. Raza Ali Dada. A visionary and leader of one of Lahore’s most esteemed architecture firms, Ar. Dada shared insights into the future of architecture, reflecting on his firm’s groundbreaking projects, both past and present. Known for designing some of Pakistan’s most iconic projects,his talk offered a glimpse into the evolving landscape of architecture and its transformative potential. This session was a true inspiration for aspiring architects and design enthusiasts.

Artiago proudly hosted a station at Dubai Design Week in collaboration with the National College of Arts, creating an unforgettable experience for 24 students and 4 faculty members. This incredible journey to Dubai offered participants a chance to explore the city, attend insightful talks, and connect with designers and architects from around the globe. They gained invaluable knowledge about design, shared their own work, and engaged in meaningful collaborations, making it a transformative experience filled with learning, networking, and inspiration.
Artiago hosted a highly successful meet-and-greet event at the S. Abdullah Home showroom in Lahore, bringing together over 100 architects and designers alongside approximately 75 students from various architecture and design schools across Pakistan. The event provided a platform for professionals and students in the same field to connect, network, and explore opportunities for collaboration. It was a resounding success, fostering meaningful connections and strengthening the sense of community within the design and architecture fraternity.
One of Artiago’s earliest collaborative events, this session brought together some of the country’s most renowned architects and designers. Held at Koel Cafe, it served as an introduction to Artiago’s vision, outlining its goals and future trajectory. This productive gathering not only sparked meaningful discussions but also showcased the overwhelming support from the city’s design community, which was instrumental in shaping Artiago’s journey. The encouragement from such accomplished professionals marked a pivotal moment in Artiago’s story.
Artiago's Art Talk
Recognizing the intrinsic connection between art, design, and architecture, Artiago launched its Art Talk series to expand its impact beyond architecture and design. The inaugural session took place in July 2021, shortly after the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, in collaboration with the legendary Noor Jehan Bilgrami and her renowned Koel Gallery.
This groundbreaking talk centered on the evolution of art—past, present, and future—and featured a distinguished panel of some of Pakistan's most prominent figures in the field, including Raza Ali Dada, Najeeb Omar, Aqeel Solangi and the iconic artist Amin Gulgee. It was a momentous occasion that celebrated creativity, collaboration, and the deep synergy between art and architecture.
